Meet the Founder

With more than three decades of experience at the forefront of healthcare transformation, Krischa Winright is a dynamic healthcare and technology executive who partners with organizations to drive measurable growth, operational excellence, and AI-enabled innovation in complex markets.

A former President of Medicare Advantage in one of the nation’s most hyper-competitive environments, she brings executive-level accountability and precision to every engagement. Her expertise includes accelerating membership growth, improving Star ratings, advancing value-based care partnerships, strengthening risk adjustment performance, and leading sustained P&L performance through regulator and market complexities. She led the implementation of a National Medicare Advantage Model that delivered more than $100M in value improvement while accelerating profitability and market differentiation.

Her career uniquely bridges healthcare operations and technology innovation. Having previously served as a CIO and Digital Officer, she earned lifelong innovation accolades and developed deep fluency in advanced analytics, digital transformation, and scalable operating models. In April of 2026, Krischa will serve as CEO of peregrine3, the first Silicon Valley-backed pure Health AI advisory firm. Through peregrine3 and her firm, Kompas Koers, she advises health plans, health systems, provider organizations, government entities, and healthcare investment firms on how to translate AI potential into financially-viable and executable strategy.

Her advisory approach was shaped by a defining personal experience. At 27 years old, as a new mother, she watched her own mother battle terminal cancer while navigating the administrative complexity of the healthcare system. That season forged a lifelong determination to reduce unnecessary suffering in healthcare. She believes patients should never have to expend precious energy fighting bureaucracy during their most vulnerable moments, a conviction that anchors her work today.

Executives who partner with Krischa consistently say they value the energy she brings to work and the value she delivers. She is known for her optimism, creativity, and ability to inspire leadership teams to think beyond incremental change. She challenges organizations to push boundaries while grounding innovation in financial and operational reality.

In this next chapter of advisory work, she sees a defining moment for healthcare. The convergence of rapid technology advancement and urgent system transformation represents a rare opportunity. Grateful to be leading in this era, she is committed to helping as many organizations as possible harness innovation to fundamentally improve outcomes and reduce human suffering. As she often says, this is happening on our watch, and it’s go time.

“This is happening on our watch, and it’s go time.”
